Guest Profile – Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch

Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch has written nineteen books for children and young adults. Her most recent YA novel, Dance of The Banished, was a Junior Library Guild selection in April 2015. The first edition of The Best Gifts was published in 1998. Marsha’s books have received more than 60 awards and nominations including the SCBWI inaugural Crystal Kite for Stolen Child, and the Order of Princess Olha, in recognition of her outstanding achievement in the development of the culture of Ukraine, in particular for her picture book, Enough (Fitzhenry & Whiteside, 2001).
